The Federal Government of the Pakistan has decided two days week day – Two Holiday Week- from 27-September-2011. These decision has been taken by the Federal Government of Punjab due to energy crisis, as the demand in electricity is increasing day by day, especially in hot. But the supply is not at all increasing as demand. So due to large gap in demand and supply the Federal Government of Pakistan has decided two days holidays in a week.
On the other hand Government of Punjab is asked by the Federal Government to revise it earlier decision in this regards. It is requested to Chief Minister of Punjab to decide in favor of 2 days holiday in a week. So that energy can be saved to meet the needs of people, hospitals and proper utilization of available resources. It is also reported that Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif is also considering on this crises issue. As government of the Punjab is fully busy in the stoppage and eradication of Dengue. Let’s see how Chief Minister of Punjab decides.
