According to the Notification No.: SO (A-I) 1-31/2608 Dated 04-04-2011:
(1)Winter Vacation will start from 24 December 2011 to 31 December 2011.It is Sunday On 1st January 2012.So, Schools will open on 2nd January 2012.
(2)In Hill stations like Murree etc. there will be Long Winter Vacation starting from 20th Dec.2011 to 4th March 2012.
Explanation:No other news are rumour is true as it’s been already notified schedule by Education Department Punjab and Sec Education denies to this news in newspapers.
Moreover no casual leave r short/half leave can be banned through verbal orders as it is the privilege of the Educator/teacher.
