PEC – Punjab Examination Commission- Registration for Grade 5 and Grade 8 Started from today. The form and electronic form version (along with software in MS Access) is sent to EDOs of 36 districts of Punjab for Starting the Registration process for class 5 and class 8. The process of Registration should be completed in all respect till 31-August-2011. The complete file should be sent on the last day 31-August to PEC via email or on CD. The detailed instruction is this regard are issued in Urdu so that no error be there in the forms.

PEC Punjab- Punjab Examination Commission- has piloted the papers for exam 2012 in 12 districts of Punjab. After completing the marking of these piloted papers the data analysis is in progress to finalize the papers as per international standards for standardized testing. So that the papers have the content and construct validity. An expert PEC Paper Developer told us that the draft papers were developed with deep and egregious process. These papers are aligned with the SLOs of curriculum 2000-2002, only the common SLOs are there from 2006 national curriculum. The cognitive frame-work of SOLO Taxonomy / Blooms Taxonomy is followed after aligning it with the Current Text Books. It is considered that if PEC Punjab work for more two years it will be on strong footings. Mr. Iqbal Ahmad Awan(Operation Manager PEC) and Dr. Bashir Gondal (Senior Research Fellow) trying utmost to do every thing nicely and up to the mark. While the education experts said that PEC is doing good work but PEC and Secretary School Punjab must develop a mechanism for the transparent and fail administration of PEC grade 5 and grade 8 exams. As cheating in exam is common which spoil the whole planning and data analysis. Strict monitoring team should be initiated at union level-headed by honest officers from school education side.
The teacher should be like mom and dad,i.e. guide, coach, mentor, facilitator and psychologist. Do not crush the personality of future of this world. I agree that teacher makes miracles not books.

I AM TEACHER AND I THINK AS TEACHER THAT SYSTEM OF 5TH GRADE AND 8TH GRADE EXAMINATION IS NOT GOOD THROUGH THIS SYSTEM WE CAN NOT GET A CREATIVE MIND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE ITS CONDUCTING IS COMPLETELY WRONG ITS PATTEN IS OUT OF RANGE OF THE STUDENTS . ITS PAPERS CHECKING IS CREATING QUESTIONMARKS . I SAW WITH MY OWN EYES THAT TEACHER AND PEC STAFF WHO APPOINTED FOR THIS AIM ARE CORRUPT MOST OF THEM HELP BUT MANY TIME THEY ATTEMP PAPER WITH THEIR OWN HAND . CHANGE THIS SYSTEM TOTALY AND APPOINTED HONEST STAFF AND STRICT MONITORING SYSTEM INTRODUCE FOR THIS AIMS

Dear Afzal, wow! my dear you are true. The teacher help or do cheating because they want their results good or 100%. We are reported that some teachers were changing the option of students, to correct options and they submitted the papers to their cluster center 4 to hours late as they remained busy in changing the option. Some of the the Head Teachers are also involved in this cheating as below 20% result the action will be taken against the head teachers and teachers concerned by the order of Secretary Education Punajb. So they encourage cheating of all kind. The system is good but we corrupted it. I am Teacher and proud to be a teacher. We have the largest Teachers Family in Punjab Pakistan some some of our Family members Teacher Cheating the system, and blame is on all Teachers. We have to identify all these culprits. As these Cheaters are discouraging the honest Teachers. One more example is that one on friend is very hard working honest teacher. But his result was not as good as a cheater Teacher. When I asked the reason to my honest Teacher Friend he that the Cheater Teacher was not regular and do his private business. He did not even cover the syllabus so he fully cheated in the administration of exam so at the end the Cheater Teacher Result was good then mu honest Teacher friend. Again I personally do not call a Cheater a Teacher as a Teacher Never Cheats. A Teacher is a Role Model.
