According to latest news the Government of the Punjab has lifted the ban on the transfer of Female Teachers of the Punjab. It is also categorically decided that the female/ lady teachers will be transfer/ adjusted near to their home and where these female teachers can easily go via reliable transport. Thousand of lady teachers are posted in the far flung backward areas of Punjab and no public transport is available to reach the school. Due to the bad law and order situation it is unsafe for the lady teachers to access and impart education as many bad incidents already happened. In this regard You can get info from the following link. Punjab govt has provided school census on their website. Though the data here is at least one year older yet you can get an idea about the schools near your locale and later you can confirm it from the school where you find the vacant post (through the website). Why 2 schools if one can serve the purpose. Govt of Punjab has merged many schools. Please write the full details/ name and student strength of your school and the other school. So that these can be merged to One school and save lot of resouces. And then you can be transfered,

From where you got this latter when I visit EDO office he said that ban is not lifted up till now. so wait for lifting the ban.
When I told him about this latter he said its only for official staff not for teachers.

agr mera school usi gaon mn mojood dusray school mn merge ho bhi jaiy to mera distance to utna hi rahay ga na jitna pahlay hay.kia mera school maray ghr say qareeb kisi school mn merge nahin ho skta?meray ghar k pas 1 school hy wahan strength bohat ziada hy or manzoor shuda seats km hn.wahan teacher ki zarurat bhi hy.
Dear if school is merged and there are other teacher then no body will object on your transfer. And if there is a seat vacant near to your house then you try to transfer that school (Near to your school).
