DPI EE Punjab Issued Letter To Implement Teachers Guides Through AEOs Punjab. According to detail the Directors Public Instruction – DPI EE- Elementary Education Punjab has a letter no. 5510/Dir(A&G) dated 29 September 2011 to the EDO Education Punjab to request the AEOs of Punjab to monitor the implementation of Teachers Guides from Grade 1 to Grade 5. The AEO has to visit 100% schools in this regard and keep a record to send till 5 November 2011 to concerned quarters for further process. All AEOs, Dy. DEOs and DEOs are asked to observe at least one Lesson each day and encourage the Teachers for using the Teachers Guide.

Note this use of Guides from grade 1 to grade 5 is to be recorded in a format called Annexure-A “Monitoring Form – Use of Teachers Guides” in Punjab’s Primary Schools. And the DTEs of Punajb were demanding this continuously that the administrative officers of Punjab should visit the Primary Schools regularly as the teaching/ learning process in the primary schools is the main cause of decline in Education System of Punjab. The Students from most of the Govt Primary Schools are unable to read and write after spending 5 years in schooling. Please comment on the Pros and Cons of this change and Implementation….
It is a very good step of punjab government. However, I would like to share the attitude of our concerned officers in inspecting the schools. One of our officers’ method of inspection is that she comes to the schools, lift up their attendance registers and other records with her and then calls the teachers in her office to take some bribery and then returns their record. I would like to ask whetehr it is the method of inspecting a school and if not what should the affectees do in this regard.
