Lahore: Government of Punjab has approved the increase in the marriage grant of government servants of Punjab. Previously gazetted officer marriage grant was @Rs=25000 (twenty five thousand), now it will be @Rs=40000 (forty thousand). For Retired gazetted officer it is increased from @Rs=30000 (thirty thousand) to @Rs=40000 (forty thousand). For non gazetted officer it is increased from @Rs-6000 (six thousand) to @Rs=15000 (fifteen thousand), for retired non gazetted officers the amount is increased from @Rs=8000 (eight thousand) to @Rs=20000 (twenty thousand). These new rates of marriage grant will be applied from 2011.

You have to apply on a form. This form is available in General Branch of your DCO office. then you have to process is through your parent department.
Marriage grant is applicable to teachers or not?

To both males and females on open merit. But 25% quota for females (25%female have the soft criteria).
