The Rawalpindi District Civil Administration announced a public holiday on December 18 in Rawalpindi as Pakistan prepares to host a special meeting of OIC Foreign Ministers on Afghanistan. As per the official notification, all public and private educational institutions will be closed on December 18.
This decision was taken to avoid congestion on the roads of Rawalpindi as the OIC delegations will arrive at Noor Khan Air Base in Rawalpindi on December 18th.
