Lahore: According to Government of the Punjab, School Education Department Notification No. (A-I)1-31/2008 dated 9-Aug-2011 following school timing will be observed during the holy month Of Ramazan in all the Private and Public Schools of Punjab. The school will observe these time strictly as some private school reported different and long hours.
But on the comments which we received on this blog, most of the visitors, especially the students are requesting an extension in summer vacations. There point of view is that they better study in their homes during the holy month of Ramazan than in schools. As they cannot sleep after Sahri and then go to school in rush traffic. But teachers have the view that duty is duty. While working women are worried that in Ramazan their work is increased more to nicely manage. Some of the visitors predicted that the attendance will remain low in the holy month of Ramazan. Let’s see what happens on 15-August-2011 (Monday). Well, very nice to open the schools on 15 th August. Teachers have to do their duty and they will do but besides ramzan, there is severe rainy weather now a days, roads become ponds of water, children and lady teachers will be facing hardships a lot. So it is better to extend vacations till to Eid. However matter is in the hands of Honourable chief minister punjab who has esteemed authority to decide better.

acha hay i agree this statement kion kay hum nay apnay education system to theak karna hay agar hum main say koi teacher baroon mulk teaching karta to us ko to har order per amal karna perta hay.

U r right.shayd ap ka school ghar k pass ha is lye ap ko easy lag rha ha. but i m a female teacher,u can,t understand our problems.mostly teachers ka school un k ghron se to kia gaun se b bht door ha.Mein khd 2 vans bdal k ati hun.upar se CNG ka masla.aisy mein roza rkh k school m aa k comfrtble ho skty han. apko ghar ja k aftari b to nai bnana parti ho g. or jhan tk syllabus ki bt ha to i thnk pehly jb 90 days ki chutian hoti thein tb b to syllabus cvr hty thy,or sumr camp m ap ne kch nai krwaya bchon ko?
